@lazzerbear If you are going to translate the novel, I think it would be fine if you started where the manga leaves off, but I would read it starting from the beginning too.

@lazzerbear I think it depends on you. For case like this it's better if you decide it by yourself. Even if you translate from the beginning, there will be people still reading it, just like if you translate from the middle.

Just… pick a choice that you will not regret. As a translator you need to be more firm with your stance, don't be swayed too much by your audience.

@lazzerbear I'm not trying to preach you here, but based on the trend I've seen so far, it's usually the selfish ones that survives long as translator compared to the selfless ones. So if you want to translate from the beginning, just do it. If you want to start from the middle, don't hesitate.

We, readers, are your audiences. Not your clients. So you don't have obligation to be concerned about us too much.

Thank you for the advice everyone. I will put some thought into where to start after I read threw the novel to see if it is consistent with the manga.

Also if anyone knows where to get the raw for chapter 11 I'll have it up tomorrow. I only happened to stumble across the raw for 10 and decided to translate today.

@elydine Because alphapolis said so. They said this manga is "一般男性向け" (Ippan dansei-muke, Google translated as "For general men") , as opposed to TsukiMichi's "少年向け" (Shounen-muke, "For boys").

While i love isekai and also like the concept of this manga - the pace is way to slow. 10 (short) Chapter in around 11 months, with sometime very little story (like ch. 10, he gets a pet, the end). Maybe interesting to read in a year or two...
