The more I read the more I see the brother as a douche.. like.. you went through stuff and that harsh and she kinda dipped on you... but cmon man... you could talk it out first... I dont wanna defend her either, she is a douche through and through but still.

I can see where hes coming from, she sentenced him basically to abuse and hyper neglect and then preyed on his naive hope to get him to go and escape.

I won't notify you, sarsak, but the most probable reason is that it'd be harder to gain custody of both of them. the mom probably wanted one of the kids so the dad would send money/she'd have a connection to the father who makes a lot of money. she probably wouldn't go down without a fight, so it was understood by both children that it'd be easier for one of them to suffer with the mom rather than both of them potentially suffering with the mom. there have been cases where jurors are biased towards mothers in custody cases, at least in the US. not sure for Korea lol

@Sarsak i'm sure you already figured it out but it would be difficult for the father to receive custody over both of the kids and worst case scenario she could even end up winning both of the kids
