@Maala A lot of characters themselves think "we are stronger, hence we should rule," but our heroes don't think that- therefore I feel as though the manhua is trying to deliver the message that instead of one gender conquering the other, they should be equal. This is what I meant by the manhua talking about "gender equality." Although, to be honest its support of equality is kinda weak. More like... "treat women with respect and dignity and you'll get all the women" which... is an ok message, I guess.
I'm not talking about realism, at all, though. I'm just pointing out that in this manhua's world, the author wrote in that women are strong, or talented, or clever enough to take on men in combat (at least in the past) but it doesn't seem like this is the case, which is why I was frustrated. Seems like just lazy writing, temporarily lowering the fighting ability of the foxes just so they can get caught.
