To be fair, it's a horrible crime to write a novelization with characters too unfaithful to the source material. If it was something less story-driven than implied, anything goes, but this Truck-kun attempted cosmic justice.

I don't recall where Ellensia's soul is, but I hope she got a good life.

oh wow, she's just straight-up confronting her about the novel premise. Also refreshingly honest with her family and Nassar a chapter ago :O
Most stories with a similar premise just kind of skirt around the topic forever.

I really like the idea of "It was a desperate wish in the face of death. Not a malicious wish that got randomly granted".

Usually when Authors get in their works in these kinds of stories and possess the protagonist, they do so out of desire and escapism.

But even though the Author had a bad life it apparently was going to change for the better if it wasn't for Truck-kun. She wanted to keep living, but at her life's end, she made a last wish that got heard by who knows who.

The problems clearly started after getting to that world and seeing how it was being changed.

I remember back in my day (chapter 84...) chapters were triple as long as this one. The author is really skimping out on this one
