It’s confirmed to me now that they have changed how the berserk state looks from the beginning, which to be honest, I hate that. They could’ve just said since the rage skill reached a high level in Niflheim training, this is how the berserk state looks now.
No need to redo all the work done before and confuse the readers as well, just because you suddenly didn’t like how it looked.
I was seriously frustrated when they didn’t mention anything during the change of appearance, and was always looking for a story-wise explanation to be given.
