You don't really need to trade phones. Account RMT (real-money trading) would mean you sell your email/password that is bound that game accouunt to other 2nd party. The 2nd party can then login into that account using the email/password and reconfigure the password to truly make the email and game account theirs.

IIRC, one of the earlier chapter mentioned something about 2-factors authorization. While it not like they can't sell the account, the phone number/email associated with it probably will have to be sold with it.
