This game is not even trying to hide that's a cash grab anymore. Premium currency to speed up obnoxiously long research time is one thing, but making basic research that newbie have to do before heading to floor 15 requires premium is a scam.

I think you can obtain gems through the daily dungeon, so you don’t need to pay in order to do research. Yet the master definitely pays to speed up the process, he/she is a pay to win type of player.
