So... The man who hanged himself is pedo?

No balance between investigation and Yuri progress. The murder case feels pointless. Lol

I think this was actually intentional to get across how common the deaths are around those two and how little it shakes them , putting so little focus on it for the reader makes it feel transient like it probably feels for the characters

This is kinda rushed. It's weird how so much things already happened. A lot of deaths and Pieta flipped a switch and is already obsessed with Transi and turned into a psycho.

I wonder if Transi's constitution causes people to give in to their worst impulses, because none of the deaths are like accidental.

You know, like teacher gets murdered because of the affair, girls commit suicide because of grief, other girl gets murdered out of jealousy, and so on.

This could also explain why Pieta is just going like murder crazy, with her being like hell yeah let's annihilate everyone. Transi's constitution is making her give in to her worst impulse that is "yeah fuck 'em who give a shit"

I think the only thing we can be sure of right now is that Transi's effect on her surroundings results specifically in people killing someone else or themselves, since the only types of incidents that become more frequent around her are murder and suicide. (And the people Transi encounters don't necessarily end up doing the killing; as Transi never knew the killers of e.g. Pieta's boyfriend or the drug dealing student.) Other violent impulses that don't end a life are not affected - the people around her are not any more likely to commit or be targets of e.g. sexual assault, as far as we know.

Consider the first incident when Transi was 5. It is obviously horrible that the man killed himself in front of Transi, but considering that he's implied to be some kind of sex criminal, with Transi being his next target, that suicide still spared her from much worse potential outcomes.

And the double suicide of the girls who were in love with the male teacher was not a crime, just tragic. It also didn't come across as "karmic punishment", since they hadn't done anything wrong as far as we know.
