Something gaze bearing something nailed expectations something.

Maybe I'm to projectmoon rotted to think of this in any other way.

So That No One Will Nail (her ever again) was all I could think of at the end lmao

I do think it shares themes with Canto 10: a story about labels lands close to home, and there's even the final bit about how her story was something to be "labelled and consumed"-a Canned Experience, if you would. Not a bad thing whatsoever though-this was an awesome read and more of these themes is always welcome.

Unfortunately, what Kei did was nothing more than a way to delude himself. The news is still out there, the Shibuya explosion happened, the survivors are left maimed, and the dead are rotting underground. No matter how many videos of her kamikaze run he deletes, it won't change the reality that the rest of the world will forever label his "Pieta" as a monster.
By erasing the footage, Kei is desperately trying to shut out the "Canned Experience" of her as a monster that the world is forcing him to consume. He chooses to cling to his own delusion instead of swallowing the brutal reality.

maybe my future wife died due to her extreme and radical political views that resulted in her committing a terrorist attack on a busy city center :fml::fml::fml:

the manga page says this is award winning, can't say i agree

The general idea it wants to convey is good and tragic, the guy is simping for the girl so hard he is drowned in his own delusions about her instead of seeing her for what she is, a terrotist. I'm just not sure if a one shot is enough for that kind of ideas, maybe it needs more pages

This was a really good oneshot, cus its presented as a sympathetic release for our mc, when it fact that it should be horrific. This was an actual terrorist causing chaos and destruction. But to our MC, she was a symbol of relief. The irony of is that as a content moderator, you would be seeing the most horrific things in humanity and no doubt be losing your mind. There are plenty of videos about the dangers of being a content moderator. But back to this oneshot, the irony that she was a holy mother to him, she herself was a horrible human being. Yes, I wouldn't disagree to the idea of this was a twist to be a twist, but the way this was presented, it felt more akin to the idea of exploring systematic spiral within social media. How influencer culture and social media wants you to present this perfect version of yourself so you can be a source of inspiration and desire, as well as getting paid to be influential. Yet, at the same time the system is design to push the most clickable/view worthy stuff, so you will see the worse things imaginable for the sake of views. As a moderator, you are tasked as a defense line so that these horrific stuff doesn't get seen onto the general public. But you're also a person too. There is a level of irony how it combines both parasocial fantasies as well as the pyschology toll of being a content moderator. Cus these are two things that go in opposite directions. But in here, seeing them combined through our mc, there are several implications that should be discussed. Cus with that ending, you could make the argument that he is supporting her cause by trying to delete our footage of that incident, trying to keep her image the same way as he imagined, he should be held responsible, but as his job, he would have to delete some of the more horrific videos.

Overall 7.5-8/10 for me

I liked this, but I feel like it might've worked a bit better if the MC's attraction to the girl was deeper than just "I like her face." Like, maybe she said something that resonated with him, and he forgot exactly what it was, (because let's be real it was probably something terrorist-y) but he remembered how it made him feel and that's what drew him to her.
