This is something, preliminary thoughts. The story began light. Yes, his mom died and exams which already are tough on a grade six, but it seems he has a normal life with normal friends. Completely changed by volume six with four of the main cast going through troubles. In particular Ten-Chan, his desperation feels raw and genuine. The ending is a tragedy that stings, but its not crippling since MC still has a good life ahead of him. The artwork feels genuine, the chibi moments being cute and emotions expressed in full. What a great piece. 8/10.
