Oh, wow. I've just recently finished reading the entirety of this manhwa on Tappytoon, and decided to see if there were any comments left in Mangadex. Guess I'm the first one.

I'll leave this comment for anyone that's debating if they should read this manhwa- you should, I recommend it.

Here are my afterthoughts. Spoilers, of course. This is one of the few mangas/manhwas that I actually would oppose of looking for spoilers. It's better to just read it all yourself.
It's 3:45am, so I'm not really going to bother with writing a proper and organized review. It'll just be snippets of what I think about the story.

My favorite character was Jiyeon. Because of her parent's sudden death, her grandfather spoiled her a bunch. She hung out with the wrong crowd, went to clubs underage, consumed alcohol and smoked, never had a good relationship with her ill brother, did not want to aid in helping him recover at first, was the main person to create a false and nasty rumor about our poor MC, and yet got very upset when the MC did not trust her and believed a rumor about Jiyeon. The rumor did hold some truth too! She threw MC's present in the trash (but secretly kept it with her for all these years), and when they had a big argument that damaged and ended their friendship, she went back to her old crowd and indulged in talking shit behind MC. Although all of these sounds horrible, Jiyeon was in love with MC, and perhaps during the incident, it was hard for her to accept the rejection. They were both female, and one could assume that Jiyeon had a tough time trying to sort out the thoughts of her being a lesbian, and what it meant to be rejected (well, it wasn't a direct rejection imo). But of course, she was a teenager, and lacked the ability to communicate better. Her method was to instead distance the MC and make her hate her. Well, that clearly worked like a charm. Especially how they parted ways.

So, did both of them make up? That's debatable. After Jiyeon's coma, not a single proper conversation was made. At that point, I felt bad for Jiyeon. She saw MC happy with another man, so in the end, she decided that it was better for both of them to not meet again. I wouldn't say I'm happy with her conclusion, and it most likely could've been better, but I do understand and actually appreciate the author's decision. Jiyeon had to take the high road and not complicate things further.

Jiyeon is prideful and her methods of telling her thoughts and feelings ( whether it be MC, her brother, or anybody else) are rather rough. And yet, she truly loved the MC all these years, so much so to let her go for her happiness.

I would say it's a rather proper character development on her end. But, I'm not entirely satisfied with the ending. So it's not a hard assumption to have that she ends up being romantically connected with that orange hair girl? They barely had any proper dialogues though, and she wasn't even able to tell the difference when Jiho took her role. Author, if you're gonna give her a happy selfish ending for Jiyeon, should've just made her single instead of ending with some background character. Whatever. End of rant.

This story is amazingly good and results in complicated feelings. I’ve been trying to find a discussion about this manhwa, but haven’t found any yet. The ending is good, but didn’t leave me happy or satisfied. I wish it ended differently but it’s probably the right one. Definitely pick this up!
