I pondered all that in the chapter 18 comments, but it was after you had made your comment already, so you wouldn't have noticed.Hehe our man spent his 9 months of job training just for examined Isla. Seems like a taboo to retain (backup-restore like) giftias' memories, I hope he and others will strieve to achive that. I love this kind of dystopia, same vibe with Beatless (well damn stuck to eps 20 up till now).
Iirc, the anime never mentioned this training or any training even before the job. My understanding is that he did it now to see what other terminals are doing since the reason Terminal 1 is more meticulous is due to Isla's ideas.Did the anime say what kind of training Tsukasa went through? I don't remember anymore. 9 months is a pretty long time, and obviously not needed for the job he has already been doing just fine. A couple of months probably would be enough for that. I reckon he got to study a whole lot about Giftia's internal structures, design philosophy, maintenance, the company's inner workings, and other such things. There could have also been physical training concerning encountering rogue Giftia.
There is a lot of original content in the VN in the form of several endings and routes. Plenty of new things are explored. The VN just recently got a full English patch, also by my group, so if you're interested, resources are out there for it.Thanks alot for the TL! Finally a closure as I quite liked it (despite a not-so-happy ending)
Does the VN have any other differences to either manga or anime?
I dunno, it can also truly be a technical reason why they cannot do that (the same as why you cannot just copy some installed application from one computer to another and expect it to work there)Hehe our man spent his 9 months of job training just for examined Isla.
