I don't understand, he has a shit ton of points and they all do, but they still need to win? If there are points it suggests that you move on by getting a certain amount of points because there are multiple rounds. How does it work? In theory these guys have a shit ton of points from killing dozens of players, since there are hundreds of players in this round and map alone, I get he doesn't want to lose his gear boxes but what qualifies to move into the next level

@FrostBlood
It's battle royale, where the one that survives win
it doesn't matter if he got like a trillion point if he's gonna be dead anyway, that's why they need to survive until the end to win

@Kryloth well that's fundamentally wrong to begin with, we know he met female sniper in this round and they formed a team where she used him to carry stuff, but then later in life tiger dies in a zombie round. The fact that they are all in this same server and round means that there is a method to the madness. Sure you would be right in a normal BR game, but this is the first round of several months or years of online tournament style shit, and the fact we meet 2 main characters instantly proves this point. Also teams are impromptu as you can see, tiger just picked up grunts, and the fox dude seems to have his own clan, despite pubg having team modes, these are closer to hunger games alliances in a sense. On top of that, points are used in later rounds, which means that if he dies he theoretically still has points. Even the pubg tournament didn't depend on one round, because it knows it is a mix of luck and skill. Possibly survival is the end goal but in a shrinking zone with at least 1,000 initial players the progression honestly cannot be to survive, unless they end the game when there are 500 players, but there are 3 'main' factions, named characters we saw before, and when you consider there are 600 left you determine that they physically can't fit in a small circle, and thus only 20 players would live in an end game style circle at best, if it was just survival people would be heavily inclined to stick with others and not try to back stab each other for points
