The what of it is not all that matters. The how is just as important. Just as much a part of the whole. Their eventual relationship was being built up over the course of the story in a fluid and enjoyable way. I was looking forward to that end. But then, in those last few chapters, when it came to the how of it... they fucked up. They injected a dose of poison into the heart of it, for the sake of this resolution. But the ends do not justify the means; the means are the ends.Wdym? Are you upset they got together? I'm genuinely confused. This chapter was amazing in my opinion.
They didn't have to fuck it all up like this. It would have been painfully easy to simply... not. Instead, they went where I could not follow, would not follow. All I wanted was for the author to not fuck everything up by adding something incredibly vile and disgusting right out of left field as a shitty means of resolving the central relationship of the entire story. An extremely low bar to clear, and yet.
You cannot possibly be this stupid. "Oh yeah, the last few chapters have had one of the main characters seriously consider fundamentally violating the other's bodily autonomy at the most intimate level and raping her via mind-altering drugs, only for them to immediately jump into a relationship together as a direct consequence, but I don't see how it's gotten that much worse. You need to stop being such a puritan!"in short, i have a hunch, you can confirm for yourself, but you've been reading since the first ten more or less out of momentum than anything else, cuz it really hasn't gotten that much better or worse.
You coward.
As for you, btgimo1562, if you're planning on replying with some mealy-mouth apologia with the intention of trying to justify the unjustifiable, I would advise you to stop and rethink what kind of person you want to be. I'm not going to tell you you can't enjoy things that are immoral, or vile, or evil, or badly written. But that's never been what's at question here.
