All these conversations about betrayal are very interesting because they seem to stop at the lying part, which I must admit I think is pretty obviously a betrayal, a deception specially made to rob her of autonomy because they knew she would make a choice they didn’t want her to. But I think what actually makes this unequivocally a betrayal is them drugging her, like if anyone drugged me against my will for any reason whatsoever I could literally never trust that person again, like I genuinely cannot imagine that not completely altering the fabric of my relationship with them, maybe all my relationships.

I'm not reading all these giant paragraphs of debates here in the comments, but I will give my two cents worth if anyone cares.

I think Evie is going to be suuuper pissed when she wakes up. Maybe this is why we don't see Linda anywhere in the future. She might just straight up fire her. And this could lead directly to her saying some things to Elsa to reset their relationship and dismiss her from the house back to the orphanage, so that when Elsa goes on to meet her at school later, she won't be so hurt by Evie not knowing her.
