Exactly. This plot line only works early on. “Was it all an act?” Is not something she would think, after everything they went through.

Feeling like a dang Deltarune theorist right nowI kind of have a feeling for how this is going to go in future chapters. My bet is that Yvonne will tell Elsa near everything including the villainess system. This will result in Yvonne getting put on the chopping block for execution, forcing Elsa to make the choice to save Yvonne even after that bombshell of a truth. Ultimately I think she will come around and attempt to save Yvonne. This will require her to team up with Circe as with her on the throne, Yvonne can be acquitted.
That’s just my guess though. Anything can happen at this point
I think Yvonne can talk about the system now because of how far off-track the story has become from the game's original plot. The degradation is just about 50%.No she never knew anything out Reincarnation. There was never a discussion about her former self before the Otome game, before the isekai. She doesn’t know Yvonne’s former name. She also didn’t even realize that the Yvonne Elsa met as a child was adult time traveling Yvonne, since Yvonne didn’t even know she time traveled until her current adult self did it. She just had a blank memory and knew her mother and father were better off than in the origins Otome game. Never knew why. Never knew someone took her mother’s curse.
Elsa only found out when Yvonne used the last of Dorothee’s power to bring Elsa into the time pocket as they went towards Olivia during the monster raid. Yvonne explained the time travel only then.
But there was an in game force keeping Yvonne from even mentioning a system administration and an invisible visual novel dialogue choice box. Even Dorothee couldn’t directly insinuate the system administrator and the game’s function when she first approached Yvonne. Just that Dorothee (future elsa) ended up learning about the Otome world. Dorothee was taking care of the system so that Yovonne wasn’t forced to make bullying choices. I’m surprised even Elsa can say “plot” and “story” vocally without in game consequences.
I feel like Elsa is conveniently forgetting how Yvonne kept trying to push her away...over and over and over.
I feel like you are forgetting that Elsa was told by Yvonne to expect and ignore that. She literally traveled back in time, got Elsa to fall in love with her, and told her, "when we meet again I'm going to have forgotten you and bully the hell out of you, make me remember this promise."I feel like Elsa is conveniently forgetting how Yvonne kept trying to push her away...over and over and over.
Consider this. The original timeline pretty much has to lead to a happy ending for Elsa, and a bad end for Yvonne. Everything that Yvonne has been doing is breaking from that timeline, not for Elsa's sake but for Yvonne's. Dorathee survives while Yvonne doesn't. So is Yvonne really sacrificing anything? She was doomed from the start, heck, she pretty well knew she was doomed from the start. Yvonne could very easily be seen as self-serving in this situation, since she dies/exile/bad ends unless she breaks the game, and Elsa being her lover is one part of doing that. Yvonne has been controlling her since the very first moment they met from Elsa's perspective; saving Elsa instead of the prince; roping Elsa into a promise to find Yvonne and pursue her until she remembers, because she knows the future; getting Elsa to take on the curse (Yvonne may not have expected that outcome but I think Dorathee might have); priming Elsa to accept all the abuse that Yvonne laid on her, etc.I honestly don't understand Elsa's displeasure with Yvonne. I mean, does Elsa really think everything Yvonne did for her was just an act? Does she really think Yvonne practically sacrificed her life and her family's honor just for the sake of acting? They've both made huge sacrifices for each other, and yet she still has the nerve and audacity to doubt Yvonne's feelings? I really hope Elsa's immature attitude passes quickly, because honestly, Elsa isn't really liked anymore. Right now, I feel like Elsa doesn't deserve Yvonne's love.
She didn't tell Elsa to specifically ignore her boundaries and that she was going to push her away repeatedly, though I suppose you could file that under 'bullying.'I feel like you are forgetting that Elsa was told by Yvonne to expect and ignore that. Their timeline is messed up. Elsa was in love with Yvonne before Yvonne was in love with her...but also Yvonne was in love with Elsa before Elsa was in love with her. Neither of them are really at fault for any of this except future Elsa and the author.Consider this.
