Yes you are.

But yeah, all that shit about marriage was too much, they know each other for like 3 months lol.

She is definitely not the worst. It’s obvious that the guy was just rushing into a marriage so that he could show it off to his parents and basically tried to coerce her into the engagement.

The relationship from the beginning was destined for failure for more than just plot reasons too, he reminded her too much of her previous relationship where she got taken advantage of so naturally she would be uncomfortable with this one not to mention its the second relationship she’s had in her life.

She also has self esteem issues which made it difficult to be even be honest with the dude and him speeding the relationship along because he felt insecure only made things worse.

In the end it’s not really anyone’s fault the relationship was always doomed but both shibata and mogami could have done better in honesty and communication respectively.

Both of them were at fault. She was wrong for being unnecessarily distrustful--I get that she had a bad experience in the past but that's no excuse to treat everyone like a scammer. She could have easily confirmed that he was telling the truth by either visiting his parents, or here's a good one, BEING HONEST AND OPEN ABOUT HER SUSPICIONS. Meanwhile, the guy clearly didn't like her that much. It's shitty to ask someone to marry you while not being direct about the fact that you only want to satisfy your parents' wishes.

Kind of wack relationship on both ends.

shibata have no reason to feel bad, if anyone think a little what he said, he just was searching any woman to marry him (so he can show to his fathers and make them feel better) but maybe he never feel love for shibata, she felt for his act (well, i see it in that way)

Girl this could have been easily solved with a single question. She could have just pressed the bf of his reason to get married, and she could have just tell him her past scammed experience. But i guess when you have a severe self confidence problem it will lead to this.
I just hope there will be character growth on her part because the current her is annoying af!

OK OKAY he probably didn't really love her. He wanted to bring home a bride at all cost it seems and she is pretty easy to push over.

Agreed, though I do want to raise a point in that Shunin didn't help whatsoever. He kept sowing seeds of doubt right from the get-go despite not knowing anything. So while she is at fault for being distrustful, I'd argue that her distrust wouldn't have been nearly as bad had Shunin not consistently told her how the guy is a scammer, how she's an idiot for trusting him, this that and the other
