So lemme try to sum up the backstory. (Some spoilers)
Darius wanted to create a reforestation robot that was more powerful than any on Earth, so he had Abra start the Bora project. However, Abra's constant failures made him realize that he'd need an AI more sophisticated than any other on Earth, moreso than even Thracia's "Dr. Roosevelt" Super Computer. Abra reaches out for Tenma, who begins to create Goji; a robot so advanced that it can believe it's not a robot, but is unable to awaken due to the billions of possible personalities it can emulate.
Dr. Roosevelt, realizing what's happening in Persia, begins his plan to eliminate Darius' ultimate robot, as well as the World's Greatest Robots who surpass Thracia's technology level who could possibly stop his ultimate plan of wiping out most of humanity to create a robot led society. To that end, he convinced the Thracian President of a plan to eliminate the WGR's to ensure Thracia's technological superiority, leading to Ochanomizu and the UN investigation team to Abra's graveyard of failed Bora prototypes, making them think that both war crimes and plans to create robots of mass destruction. The UN invades and most of the WGR's participate in the following war. Abra's family is killed, save for Sahad who was overseas, and Abra is near death. Desiring revenge, Abra commands Tenma to implant Goji with his memories and hatred; Goji awakens and thinks he's Abra, even after he's able to create the Pluto body that he'd never be able to do by himself... "That was Goji."
"Abra" then convinces Darius to go along with his plan of revenge so that the repurposed Bora plan, a robot capable of holding and detonating an anti-proton bomb to create a super volcanic eruption that's capable of destroying Thracia and the world that "denied Darius' rightful reign". But the WGR's are capable of fighting against even a powerful Bora, so "Abra" retrofits "his" son Sahad into Pluto and kick off the plot. Meanwhile, "Abra", still lying to himself that he is actually Goji (even while doing impossible things like jumping between buildings) get spotted and Geischt gets involved.
