Gesicht’s last moments.

I really can’t see how Tenma claim that he inserted the hatred from Gesicht’s last moments to Atom to wake him up.

Urasawa showed us he is compassionate to Ali up to his last moments. Because that aligns with his character, and would work better as a “he’s a good man, you can’t kill him like this” tearjerker moment.
But, the hatred then felt like it’s shoehorned into the story because it need to be from the last moments. He couldn’t take it from other moments such as the hatred that made him kill a human. At most, it would be regrets.
