They are similar, yes. They are both equally stupid. A guilty pleasure at best. Unfortunately it is somehow worse than Skill Lender.

Hate to say this, but the fact that he takes back all the exp is kinda meh? The only purpose it served was to make the MC OP and to make the guild become a non-threat or even a real factor in the manga.
Should have let them keep their exp, but not be able to grow anymore, stagnating instead of decaying in power. Overall, I found this manga wanting.
