And this folks is why you don't keep quiet for someone being evil, while i get the character choice here cause he's lost it all but the way we got here it feels unsatisfying. Also it was real obvious with how much they talked about moms, returning home and dreams.... ALso I call BS that noone heard them being killed.

Here is the thing, the MC had no reason to think he was actually evil.

At most, it would have seemed like an empty threat... at worst, dude was just an arrogant A-Hole...

Honestly, I feel the author was just forcing this for more drama...

And I would argue that it's less that nobody heard them being killed because it was quiet and more cause it was quick and they didn't expect it....
