Did you know: Phione is likely based on sea angels, specifically Clione. It is the only Pokémon obtainable by breeding a Mythical Pokémon and it is the first Mythical Pokémon to not be Psychic type (by National Pokédex number)!

Sawsbuck (#0586)​

Did you know: Sawsbuck is most likely based on deciduous trees and is the only Pokémon line that changes forms with the season. Because of this, its shiny form only changes the colors of the main body and not the antlers!

Charmander is my favorite gen 1 starter as well. it makes the first two gyms harder and can learn Fly later which is nice in FireRed because there are 7 HMs and if i teach Charizard Fly then i can have a Parasect with False Swipe and Spore and Flash/Rock Smash and a Dragonite with the 4 remaining HMs. (also what else am i going to teach Charizard with gen 3's lack of physical/special split and his shit movepool. all he needs is Flamethrower and Dragon Claw.)
