Which moron thought this was a good idea? Suddenly include a little kid with magical healing, mindreading abilities and whatever else the author decides to pull out of his lazy ass when he has written himself into a corner. Healing items are a thing! All this magical bullshit is just plain stupid.
And making the elite 4 a cartoonishly villainous team in this manner also feels dumb. This is just going to end up in another one of these tropes where the villains are aiming to kill the mc's and have evry opportunity and then some to do so, but for some reason just dont.
