It makes me truly, truly unhappy that transphobia is a central theme of this last volume. It wasn't handled completely terribly, but even Ren was not very good about it... yuck. Completely soured the whole thing for me, since it's not like there was anything close to resolution for the two main characters at the end of volume 3...
