Surprisingly solid, even with its overplayed jokes (with recurrence, some times they land, others not so much).

And i don't even go for GL anymore.

Very cute couple, and nice story. Didn’t really care much for the last arc for various reasons, but it definitely pulled through in the end.

Good story, likeable characters, charming art, and a satisfyingly competent translation. I enjoyed it all the way, thanks!

Probably one of the best translated manga I've read in awhile. Very cute and enjoyable, too

Final arc was pretty awful feeling, mainly because people on both sides ended up being emotionally hurt because the protagonists couldn't communicate. Casting a transman in a villain role wasn't very smart either. Skip from Chapter 50 to 72 if you want to skip that stuff, you aren't missing much.

I loved this whole manga! It really has a nice follow to it, and the fact it has 3 separate arcs just kinda really works well for it. I though the author did a great job at the final arc as well when it came to trans rep. , but I can see how some people would be off put by that.

I'm glad I picked this one back up and finished it. I remember putting it to the side after reading the first few chapters because I couldn't see sticking through 70+ chapters of the same unrequited yuri/poor joke mix. But giving it another shot paid off and I was satisfied at the end. I see complaints about the trans character in the marriage arc, but I didn't feel that character was particularly bad. He was an antagonist, which the story arc needed. He at least started out saying he
understood Ren was a lesbian and he had no intentions of sleeping with her. He did get a bit pushy towards the end, but he saw that Nako was a true rival and got desperate from seeing his one chance of being taken seriously in the business world slipping away.

But I enjoyed this as a whole. It's kind of like if Futaribeya had a plot more involved than "two girls meet in high school and tease yuri for 8+ years", and mild antagonists more involved in the plot than "time passing like it does around Sakurako and Kasumi while the side characters face challenges outside their symbiotic relationship."

this is surprisingly great..the humor of this manga is gold.. i was avoiding this as i thought its a loli thing ,haha..(since im not fan of it,art made me think it was,xD aff..), but wow, turns out to be good..though art is not anything special, the reactions of characters are well executed..
i dont mind the character on the last arc, kinda new approach, this what made the story got its twist somehow...all in all,its great and enjoyable..flufffyyyy and funny

I really liked how the author allowed the setting to change, and the return to that first setting felt rewarding after seeing what the two of them went through.

The final arc of the story felt very weird in some ways, but I overall enjoyed it.
I did like the trans character, mostly because I viewed his presence as the flaw in Ren's own view of things. She said she hated men because they always have ulterior motives, but she was completely fine being pushed around by a trans man who fully revealed his own ulterior motives to her, because he was in fact, originally born a woman.

The comedy didn't quite stick with me, I feel like jokes about poverty get stale after a while, and the most interesting things to come out of them is seeing how Nako can make even the smallest things be meaningful.

So simplistic! So amazingly great! I had no expectations going in, but found I was laughing all the way through.

Regarding the few complaints, nobody of any sexuality should get a pass from being cast in any role in fiction. To say that someone of a certain sexuality can only be presented in a certain way is to reduce them to being nothing more than that sexuality. This character had a hidden agenda and ulterior motives...just like all humans do.
