The apothecary owner sure is a saint. He suggested she open a stall even though it might undercut his sales. Is he even a named character?

Feels odd that when you learn how strong the monsters are, your question is whether there is a 'need' to make stronger potions, rather than is it worth risking gathering the required ingredients.

Does she need to collect the ingredients at all? Would be much easier to start by buying the ingredients, or asking the guild

Opening her own stall? Won't some thugs come and ask for "protection money"? :/

not only that but robbery too, thats where later on the red wolf girl appears

Instead of hireing someone to escort her to pick the herbs, she could hire someone to pick the herbs, sure, it may be a bit more expensive, but it would pose zero risk to her, and even though the pay may not be the best, its the kind of quest people would normally do alongside other quests to the same area.

Keep in mind that the whole point of her going is go somewhere with a lot of water, i.e. the river (page 11). And it also helps that there would be plenty of easy to pick grass and away from a lot of prying eyes.
