On page 20, the phrase "just still humans" can be "still just humans" instead. The words flow better.

And on page 5, change "you've" to "you're" because if you want to use "you have" then you'll need a "been" after the "finally." So it'll either sound like "you're finally able to use the demon sword," or "you've finally been able to use the demon sword."

Personally I'd go with the first option, now that I wrote it out.

It seems the obvious setup is that out of the two, florea is gonna be the reasonable one and rain is gunning for that promotion. I would honestly be fine with that as well as the subversion. having it open like that allowd us to dive a bit deeper into the corruption that is rampart in the heroes, and the subversion would also be nice, since i love seeing people win against their base desires.
