Okay, so it's confirmed that the hunters can get so close to being human that they'll even lose their hunting instincts. So my guess that Jeongtae is a completely metamorphosed hunter who now behaves like a human gains some credence.

What I'm curious about now is what the difference between men and women is regarding their ability to see the hunters. Women who can see have both eyes turn red, but men only have one. But there doesn't seem to be any difference in their power level or features. But since they're consistently drawn like that, it has to be relevant. Or maybe men are weaker and Min-ho didn't actually see the hand lunging towards him in the final panel of that scene?

And that "yeah" at the end was the most nonchalant admission of guilt in murder I can recall. Yun-yeong gains creepiness points from me, or at least the past herself does.

Man Mingo had so much time to confirm with Minji if she had the sight as well. He really should have brought her on board before he met Jeongtae. At least Yun-jeong shared her information with Minji.

I wonder if the author is implying something like the sight is hereditary and carried on the X chromosome. Well it's probably not that complicated.

Chapter 29 opened with a news story about gene editing, followed by Jeongtae explaining that the hunters are from the future, descended from humans. The juxtaposition implies that the hunters are the end result of gene editing. It's not out of the question for heredity and chromosomes to come up.

We only have a small pool of characters to reference, so sex may not be the deciding factor, but it does seem to be a pattern. However, her mom that she visited early on had bandages over one eye. It's possible she only had it in one eye and it was somehow destroyed, making her unable to see the hunters.

But this other guy made an interesting comment that might give a reason why women have it in both eyes, if that continues to be the case:

Interesting stuff. We'll see how this goes.
