As confusing as it's been in the past chapters, I'm seeing why the two perspectives we've been following weren't chronologically in-sync. The idea seems to have been to tell both parts of the story at the same time, with specific details laid out for the reader from each side, so that we can get a big climactic moment with both perspectives merging. Even if the execution may not have been perfect, I am greatly anticipating the upcoming chapters.
