So much potential! However, the pacing is just too rushed. I won't spoil anything, but the most important events fly by in a flash. You're here, you're there, and you're done. Loved the art style, but it just threw a bunch of cliches and incomplete plot details into a short span of chapters. If anything it feels like the author wanted to compact 100 chapters worth of plot into 50. The result was lack of clarity and flow. I really wanted to like this comic, but I just feel confused and disappointed after finishing it. The best way I can describe this comic is like an incomplete fence. There are a bunch of fence posts in a line, but the planks between the posts are missing. Obviously there was a goal and some planning for the fence, but the job was rushed, and the end product suffered.

@leelee78982 is right. It's really a shame this was made to be so short. It really could've been incredible, 8/ or 9/10, if it were fully fleshed out. Even still, I think it was worth the reading, though it leaves me wanting more.

Anybody got similar recommendations? (Romance, fantasy, and maybe some supernatural?)

@ManyMangaAreMangos, I agree with you. I'm glad that you felt like it was worth reading. I hate it when I read something and it feels like a waste of time. I have some recommendations for possible reads (sorry there's a lot, I read a lot 😅):

-Super Secret by Ion (completed) (read on Webtoon)
-InuYasha by Takahashi Rumiko (completed) (an older comic, so the art style may not be what you are used to)
-I'm a Villainous Daughter, so I'm going to keep the Last Boss by Nagase Sarasa (completed)
-Meido no Koi wa Enma Shidai! by Hirai Runa (completed) (not all of the chapters are on Mandadex yet)

-I Am a Child of This House by Shiya (ongoing)
-A False Confession by Coo Ara (hiatus) (this comic just finished season 1, so it's on hiatus)
-E-Rank Healer by Yukito Zakku (ongoing)

-Charlotte and Her 5 Disciples by Yong Yong (ongoing) (a personal favorite of mine right now)

However, I'm afraid most of these aren't my cup of tea. They seem to be video-game-type fantasy than novel-type fantasy, and just a little more silly in general. However, I can say I enjoyed Super Secret. The ending could've been a bitbetter, but it was fine read, too.

Thanks all the same, though! It's tough to find that niche of what you're looking for, sometimes

Edit: to be fair, my main interest is in the romance. It can be tough to find fantasy manga where it isn't buried, not to mention other genres besides fantasy
