This manga just goes at the speed of sound. 0 to infinity in one chapter.

That can't end well, never thought when i read "Your fangs are gone" he was talking about her arm. In a way it's remind me of Her Shim-Cheong but more stupid.

Just saying, he wouldn't have been able to pierce through that guy's skull from behind with his sword. It would most likely get deflected off because of the bone, or get stuck part of an inch inside. The skull is really hard.

@ZeonII: if you can stab someone though his skull with a knife, you can do the same with a sword. Look at page 230, Swey makes the marquis fall, then he stabs him with his sword.

@Thelegendarytaeyamada yeah, and I'm saying it's not possible irl, knifes and swords have different cg. also force needed to pierce the human skull with a sword using thrusting motion is very high. also he pierces top of his head witch is highly unlikely. I would've believed if it was temple where the bone is thin but not vertex

So Flora wants to give the princess back her status, and Swey wants to marry her to become king, which would give the princess back her status.

Easy just let Swey get the brat, but now she lost an arm and is living in plot armor alone.

@Zeonll I'd agree with Thelegendarytaeyamada. You have to take into account the weight of the sword, the pointy edge and its speed. The swiftness of the blow increases its force quadratically. Twice the speed means 4 times the force ! Thrice means 9 times!

Swey's sword seem heavy and pointy. He's a trained knight and applying some strength, a skull would be pierced relatively easily. You overestimate how sturdy a skull is. People falling backward can fracture their own skull under their own weight.

Beheading someone is somewhat harder, but with a sharp blade, strength, speed, weight and the right angle, it's doable in one move.

But it wouldn't be easy to do horizontally.

@Kirin-kun dude, swords barely ever weight more than 1,5kg so your numbers like "4 times! 9 times the force!" are just overstatement. You underestimate how sturdy the vertex bone is. when people crack skull from falling they crack it because of blunt force being applied. it's different from piercing. you can penetrate skull with a sword by chopping motion because of how acceleration would work, but to pierce it by thrusting you either need to pierce it in place with a thin bone(temple, eye socket) or have an industrial nailgun that shoots swords.
speaking of beheading. there is a reason axes were used before guillotine was invented. Axes have cg near its blade. it allows for better acceleration during the chopping motion
