The Tei abuse in the manga is really overdone. Almost each chapter has Tei being verbally and physically abused, it's hard to find either of the MC's likable at this point. Nearly being ran over by a horse is no joke, yet the MC's completely ignore that they almost crippled Tei. I know this is primarily comedy over romance, but even then I find it humorless when Tei is abused from all corners.

Right now, I care more about Tei finding happiness with someone than the two FMC's relationship. Almost 90% of the comments in this chapter are about Tei, so I guess that indicates that some people may feel the same way.
