finally get to latest chapter
from my point of view, this basically one of best revenge-themed manga, since most revenge-themed manga i read is something like "Fukushuu o koinegau", "Redo of healer", and "Misu misou", which is just plain edgy with 2 dimensional characters (and misu misou is gore-y and doesn't even give satisfying revenge).

this manga on other hand, focused on lot of cast whose the character isn't 2-dimensional (some character can be doesn't make sense sometimes, but still better than 2 dimensional bastard in other series), and actually give cool twist to story.

@Ayveh about "Juujika no rokunin", its sound lot like "Fukushuu o koinegau", which have OP mc Torturing the irredeemable villains.
so, if you already read fukushuu o koinegau, can tell me how "juujika no rokunin" compared with it? like... which one have more gore? which story is more complex, or something like that.


anyway, for you guys who like this manga i recommend this..

@ryouhira - I would say "Juujika no rokunin" Has less gore, and he isn't crazy like the main character of "Fukushuu o koinegau" I have read that one, but only up to a certain amount of chapters. It was a bit...hmm.. I don't really know how to describe it but it felt more like it was about it being Ecchi and him being crazy angry, the story itself unraveled itself as you read which made it feel like "Wtf who is this person now, oh great here goes another evil person we know nothing about until they get killed or are about to get killed" Meanwhile "Juujika no rokunin" starts off with him being a kid and being bullied and it shows what let him to seek revenge and how he came to that person who taught him how to be the amazingly strong person he is today as well as how he learned to kill. There isn't magic involved, and in my opinion is FARRRRRRRRRR better than the one you are asking about. I currently rate "Juujika no rokunin" a 10, however once it finishes I might change the rating if I'm not satisfied.

Meanwhile "Fukushuu o koinegau" I would rate a 5/6 It was far more gorey, all over the place, and the main character didn't make me relate, sympathize or anything like that with him.

Thank you for the recommendation, I don't read torture mangas due to a fetish so the second recommendation you gave I'm going to have to pass, as for the first one "Ijimeru Aitsu ga waruinoka, ijimerareta boku ga waruinoka?" well, the fetish thing is just 40% of the story, the rest is about how the MC escape the inescapable circumstance.

imo, the true charm of "ijimeru aitsu" is you can't decide which side to choose, did you want the protag to get his revenge? or you want to stop an innocent girl suffering?

imo, the true charm of "ijimeru aitsu" is you can't decide which side to choose, did you want the protag to get his revenge? or you want to stop an innocent girl suffering?

I fucking wanted mindless torture... If I would had given such a chance i would write any random name and title and who ever I get I will torture him and make him question why he took birth!!

You know, I was bully one day and I feel sorry for Aya. She just wanted him to be stronger. What's wrong with that? I he doesn't like it then logically he must become stronger.

And remember kids causing someone pain is bad. If you are getting revenge, then you must inflict same amout of pain that was caused by that person.

@Skill - Yes, "Yoru ni Naru to Boku wa" - it has a good ending in my opinion, it's pretty much conclusive. I will say though there is a part in the story where you think the MC is stupid and being careless...but man hang in there because he BIG brains everything and is carefully acting out what he planed and flips it around in his favor.

Another one I really like but isn't finished yet is "Juujika no Rokunin" It is VERY...um...there is a lot of blood and torture... so if you aren't cool with that, skip it because you definitely won't be able to handle it, BUT the MC is pretty OP (After the time skip that happens at the beginning) he isn't a weakling even when you think for a moment that he is he BAM surprises you with how strong he has become mentally and physically.
The 2 latest chapters though, well they feel like they just don't fit in with the theme/genre of the story but my guess it is going somewhere and something will happen which is why they are showing it...or so I hope!

Just to explain, i've read the first chapter then jumped to the last chapter. I was shocked, after being bullied, beaten up, made to kiss the toilet and being gaslighted they ended up dating? Heck even if he subjected her to torture it doesn't mean that it was a zero-sum game so they should date.(At best just forgot about existence of each other) So i asked ChatGPT to fill in the blanks:

This is probably one of the worst things I’ve ever read in my life. The way the author handled severe trauma especially involving the female lead, who was tortured to death and raped is absolutely horrifying. And then, in the end, they just go back to living a normal rom-com life? You can clearly see that, in his eyes, bullying, rape, and torture are treated as the same thing which is absolutely insane. Jesus... It feels like this author has never stepped outside his room or even touched reality.

It's such a shame, too, because there's so much unrealized potential for emotional complexity there. That being the case, can anyone recommend a manga that has a similar relationship dynamic and satisfyingly fleshes it out?

It's an edgy story written by someone in highschool who resents everyone and themselves, but slowly starts to forgive it all as the write, and it reads like it. It's not good, no, but I suggest reading the second to last page before reading the whole story, (if you somehow manage to do that) as it makes you appreciate the story in a certain light.

I completely understand your frustration with the ending, but to be fair, they were both fucked up due to the circumstances they each suffered, so it makes sense that they ended up together in the end (as utterly stupid as that may be). Well, it is pretty easy for me to critiscise each of their actions, because I have had the privilege of having not experienced anything remotely similar to what both Aito and Aya did. Although I can relate to having been bullied, it was not even close to the extent that Aito was.
