Given the brother has some immunity (possibly only benefits from infection like recovery aspects, since he seems like he was already braindead prior to zombification), you'd think her as a blood relative would at least hold hope she had whatever degree of protection as well. Either run away and worst case become a regular zombie in the wild, or go into holding as you get infected where if you're a regular zombie they eliminate you and otherwise you become the first step to a cure as you suffer as a medical experiment.
