@Treswimming Not all characters need to be likable, but all characters should make some amount of sense. As a person in this story, Maya makes zero sense. Izuki just bends over backwards for her. If we follow Izuki's perspective, Maya is this almost perfect being who is trying her hardest to express her feelings for Ritsu even though it never works out. Maya is great because she gives it her all in everything she does.

So...that's why Izuki tolerates any of Maya's actions? Is that honestly the reason that we're supposed to understand? Like, sure, make Maya unlikable because of her clear personality issues. But what doesn't make sense is why Izuki interacts with her this way, with almost complete deference. Izuki is just like that even though we've seen her personality go against that? That doesn't humanize her. If anything, it dehumanizes Izuki because it makes Izuki look inconsistent and nonsensical.

Why is mc so sympathetic to Maya she acts like they were childhood friends. Maya has done and said so many ridiculous thing and mc just takes it all in stride like it's normal. Like she's putting up with it cause Maya has been there for her this whole time when they just met and don't even really know each other they r just classmates.

i don't believe that maya is being thoughtful about ritsu though, she just wanted hide her selfishness and she just manupilated her lol and you itsu, you are just plain dumb!! thanks for the chapter.
