@otakukc all the drama energy was spent just getting these idiots to function in a normal high school lol. Pretty much everything in this series was dramatic except for this reveal. I don’t know if I feel positively or negatively about this lol.

I'm honestly kinda laughing at how anticlimactic this chapter was. The most anticipated moment of the story and this is what we got lol

Was thinking about Ritsu's wish at the beginning of the story. Maybe his wish was that Itsuki became a girl? Also, man was this an anti-climactic payoff. Literally, the entire conflict of the story revolved around this and then, nothing. Either this is going to pay off even more later on or the author got tired of doing drama and wanted to go right to the fluff.

I hope we get a chapter where it’s the past few days but in Ritsu’s POV and it’s him piecing together how itsuki = izuki(?) and what we just saw is him being all like “I was right, I’m so relieved” cuz that was so anti climatic and he accepted that wayyy to quickly. Like at least deny it a little or ask for more evidence.

Yay! And...and... that's it? Kind of anticlimactic? I'm going with my theory that he wished it would happen (I recall a wishing thing in the first chapter) so he wasn't surprised? Probably something heteronormative like "I wish Itsuki and I could always be together" and so the author makes her a girl...

Personally, I liked the direct simplicity of the reveal. It had a very genuine feel. And, I thought that wordless single panel hug was a nice payoff.

I'm glad that they were able to do this but in reality Izuki kinda just got lucky with Ritsu's response. Ritsu might take it differently and will just get everything down to hell and I see it now (referencing to my previous rant where I question Izuki's decision of confessing to Ritsu despite everything that happened before that), it seems like Izuki took a dive and hoping she'll get it right, like a do or die situation. However as much as I am happy at this reveal, I think back. What's the point of all those previous chapters? I will take back everything I said back then if they can justify those previous chapters after this.

On the bright side, hey I can finally choke this manga without hurting my throat.
