Honestly, my impression of blondie, too, worsened. As they say, you are known by the company you keep.

You're right about her, as well. She's most likely been letting the scumbag get away with that kind of shit for years because it fuels her over-inflated ego. No doubt she knows he's in love with her but pretends not to notice just to keep stringing him along. If she was an honest, upright person, she would warn the other two about his underhanded behaviorism, but she'd probably rather watch them get bad grades so hers would shine above them.

Since she's the female lead, I'm hoping she'd maybe say enough is enough and not let him get away with such nastiness. Y'know, redeem herself if she's been (consciously or unconsciously) enabling him. Guess I'll just wait and watch. 😅

As blondie and cohort are childhood friends and he is still a douche and she knows he's been a douch for a long time, I'd say she's probably been consciously enabling him for years, just for her own amusement. At least that's the impression I get.

Now that was fun! I doubt blondie has told him off like that, ever. It's good to see a female who's able to stand up for herself for a change. I hope we get to see lots more of her.
