The artwork felt like it has so much less details compared to just the previous chapter. I wonder what happened to the artist.
It's especially visible in the hair, though there's less details in various other parts. Like the inking seems heavy and very simple-looking, like it's done with a vector tool. Maybe the artist is ill or had a hand injury?

Keep in mind this manga has been running for nearly as long as Detective Conan, so it's no surprise the artist has taken to some detail shorthand.

By the look of it, artist just switched to digital art instead of traditional, and maybe not used to it yet. You can see the difference in lines easily.

Why police didn't find the jacket gloves and all of that in the the bushes, he can't be thrown it far, because he has to pretend to get hit by car and need to handcuff himself.

Ty for the chapter, i loved it that it's back

The more detailed image on the left was literally from the previous chapter. It's not from a super old volume. Your art style shouldn't degrade this quickly unless the series really had an actual hiatus between the last chapter and this one.

The artist has been doing digital for a while. Both examples I put up are visibly digital, but THIS current chapter specifically looks like it was done with vector tools rather than simply a digital hand drawing (with a tablet).

I thought maybe the artist was ill/injured and it made them unable to draw by hand, or maybe their tablet broke and they couldn't replace it fast enough, or maybe they're just testing out new art methods.

Yeah no, left example doesn't look digital for me, maybe digitally cleaned. Right one does, and it's look like simple digital drawing, I don't no how did you see vector tools. I'm digital artist myself, and these lines you can get by using default pencil brush with a tablet.

I also have seen enough digital vs traditional artwork to tell the difference. When you compare it to the super duper old chapters where it's actually pen and ink on paper, you can tell that even the more detailed one is also digital.

Since the picture on the left is also digital, and the one from this chapter has linework that looks much more stiff and chunky in comparison, it looks like vectored lines. Sure, you can also draw like that by hand, but if that's not vector then it's even more curious why the drawing looks off here.

I went searching for raws to check, and the artwork goes back to normal later, so this is just a one off problem.
