Idk man, I really liked the change of personality with the MC, he was completely shaped by the violence and injustice around him, that he became violent and obsessed with revenge himself.
But for some reason the author ramped up the violence so much that it kind of became a parody of itself for how much stuff was happening all the time. At least it looks that it is coming to a close, lers see what they do with MC.
