We've always known that, tho. The real mystery is who he's telling the story to in the present day(which we still don't know).

I know that there is a surprising Christian population in Korea, but this pretty much reads as pro Christian propaganda LOL, I just think it's kinda weird and takes me out of the story considering there are multiple rape scenes in the same piece of work.
