Best girl Noona, begone THOT!
Dunno if it was best to outright leave just because of the pastor but it's also probably best to leave the past in the past. The pastor is certainly one of the most interesting characters in the story despite being so minor a character. He represents a bastion of change, actual change for once. Idk if he can truly condone for his sins as a mob boss but as of now he seems to truly have accepted a new path. No drinking, showing kindness to those he wronged, telling the fat bastard his true thoughts and not being blinded by money to cut off a high schooler's hand.
If that can spread to the father, it may not save the marriage but he can learn to move on and also atone. More hope than anything else in the story.
I mean, when I put it that way it seems very small a leap. But come on, the bar 2 chapters ago was trying to make a 60yo man agree to not raping a married woman . And he was acting like this was some lofty demand. The bar is on the floor and the pastor at least raises it a few inches.
