Group projects are graded poorly. lets say you have 4 person project. Each one can contribute to it 25% how will that translate to the quality of it when other people are random variables. On the other hand you could have a person take the lead on the project and place more effort into it guiding thus having a bigger impact overall. All in all individual's performance cannot be judged by grade on the project. That said learning to work together & communicate is a valuable skill.

Sometimes the people who do the work end up okay. I think I'm okay... probably.
The wife said I'm a little crazy, so I'm not going to complain.

I don't do 'group projects.' I have a job. I'm given tasks and complete them in a timely manner. I have no problem at all throwing a co-worker under the bus if they don't do their job. 'Group projects' are a great way to learn that some portion of your future co-workers are going to be dead weight; aside from that they serve no purpose.

This reminds me of my job.
We have one shared inbox, all work goes into it. We call out in a group chat what we're working on, then take it. Some people really don't understand that it's showing EVERYONE how little work they're actually doing. So yeah, I'll keep doing my 65-90 files, good luck on my days off - oh you are 4-6 hours behind on those days? I WONDER IF IT'S BECAUSE THERE ARE MAINLY PEOPLE DOING 12 FILES A DAY? I'm going to work now. Have a good day everyone!
