QoTD 119: Which anime studio is your favorite?

Short answer would be Studio Trigger.

Spoiler: Long answer

I personally don't have a favourite studio cause I spend more time reading manga than to watch anime. And I enjoy consuming manga over anime for most of my time.

But when I look back at to all the anime I have watched, Studio Trigger has to be one of my favourite. Their work on Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia, Promare and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners are the highlights for me. I love the art style for all the above-mentioned shows/movie and paired with the animation, it's just an eye candy.

They are the studio I look forward to watching!
Currently in wait for Edgerunners 2!

Hmm, I'd have to say a tie between David Productions and Mappa/Wit (If there is a difference between those two) usually, because i'm a big Jojo and Vinland Saga fan. BUT, I cannot deny the absolute beast that is Toei Animation. Just look at One Piece, from 1998 to last year they were pumping out One Piece weekly for the most part, and toward the end before the shift to seasonal releases now, the quality of the episodes just kept getting better animation wise. The Entire Wano and Egghead Arcs were MASSIVE ,making up likely a quarter of the entire series with 300 or so episodes combined, and each one is a visual powerhouse. SURE, I do think they went crazy, and that's why I loved it!
People think the Mappa guys are overworked, I can't imagine what the Toei guys' work hours are.
