QoTD 153: Do you think it's possible to clip farm in this site? If so, do you have any examples?

im of the belief that our comments on mangadex are getting compiled by a rogue AI robot that will build a profile on us to sell to data brokers. so yes we are being farmed
Never forget what we found out in the past from @bigtiddyoneesan (and @Robinisback) when they searched us up with AI:

At the end of the video. Do people actually log out??
I have never done that, it automatically logs me out every now and then, and I log back in :haa:
Yeah? Also if you log out from the forum side you can see this Fed-kun easter egg:

QoTD 152: How would you implement the multiverse element into a pre-existing story?

(trying something different today, so the ping list has been edited out)
Did this before with a handwritten short story. I think I named it Bleak Spiral or something.
MC death in the current universe makes alternate universe MC "wake up" with memories of the previous universe. The memories of the current universe get mashed together with the other one and he starts spiraling down. Family started thinking he was crazy, starts going downhill, accident happens and the next universe's MC gets the memories mashed into his own.
I wonder which notebook has that one in it...

QoTD 154: What was one story that changed your life?
I won't say it "changed" my life, but it did have a strong impact on me.
Reading Aku no Hana, aka The Flowers of Evil, from start to end in one sitting. It was truly an extraordinary manga.
It felt like an emotional rollercoaster reading it.
An experience that I wish I could relive. Lose all my memory and read the manga all over again in one sitting.

As for how it impacted me, I have started to crave more and more psychological drama after reading that and ended up adding some of the most messed-up manga to my library :shamihuh:
It's one of my favorite manga too; I just wanted to promote it :02:

Note: The manga I mentioned is a psychological drama, so read it only if you can tolerate this genre. Written by the same mangaka who wrote Blood on the Tracks and Okaeri Alice, some of his recent titles.

QoTD 154: What was one story that changed your life?
Hmm. There's always been a story that's shifted me every 2-3 years. Recently it's been Vinland Saga (Paired well with me also finally getting one of the inner meanings of Steel Ball Run). But, looking back, one of the bigger stories that changed me formatively, personality wise was, of all things Yakuza 0-6. Believe it or not my familial loyalty and respect to a fault stems from those games. I didn't have headphones, so I had to watch someone on youtube play through each game, and I read all the way through.
That said, One Piece is another big one, inspiring me to keep believing in my dreams. Which is a funny contrast to SBR which tells you "Life is a Detour, not a Straight Path" and shows it's characters freaking out or accepting that fact. But, I'll stay with Yakuza as it's lasting impression has stayed to this day.
