yes, every so often i 'half wake up' repeatedly, where i'm still in my room but stuff is different (there'll be a dog, or new furniture, or my teeth are falling out, or people i don't know). i can force it to happen by going through alcohol withdrawals (which i don't do (because i never stop drinking), but i can), but sometimes it can happen if i'm bundled up just right.
