Excuse me what the fuck?
He's actually watched too many movies and became a villain from one he loves. That's the only explanation.
Thanks for the chapter!

first he's a hilariously bad villain that randomly demands a nude film shoot, then he wastes the film club's time writing a draft he knows he's gonna reject anyway and then he gets upset/melodramatic and angry/potentially violent in the span of 2 - 3 pages when she decisively rejects his idea just because "she promised" - full well knowing she voiced her concerns and rejected the idea at an earlier date already and he pressured her into silence by threatening to end their "friendship." just lmao man

ok, i've just about had enough of this shitty writing. even the pretty characters and their cutesy behaviour can't salvage this dumpster fire. i honestly don't think i've ever seen a manga turn to shit in less than 10 chapters when the first 20ish chapters were cutesy/wholesome.

anyway, i thank the scanlators very much for their quality work, but this just isn't for me anymore.

Fun fact about the Stanford Prison Experiment: it's been basically debunked at this point. The guy running the study would directly interfere with the participants who were refusing to play the role in a way that would lead to the conclusion they wanted to publish. Basically, any time a guard started expressing doubts or refused to be brutal to the prisoners, the professor would step in and say things like "it's just an experiment," "you're getting in the way of scientific progress," and "I won't pay you your participation money if you drop out early." (These were mostly college students, freeters, or other people who really needed the participation money.) Same thing with prisoners objecting to the harsh treatment, saying it was going too far: professor steps in and makes similar threats. Also, he hand-picked which people would be guards vs prisoners, trying to pick the ones who seemed the most unhinged (or who had disciplinary records, stuff like that) to be the guards. It's now believed that expectations from others, or material interests, or just straight up fear of punishment are what tend to lead people to fall in line with their role, rather than the role itself.

I'm only sharing this because I think it's interesting, btw. Has nothing to do with the story, except that they mentioned the experiment in it.

There it is, there's the real face of a true POS. I knew he was awful but thought he was really dedicated to the art of cinema that it didn't matter if the theme of the film is extreme for high schoolers. I know it won't happen but I would love it if someone knocked his teeth out. Thanks for the translations.
I knew it i had him pegged day 1 because he screamed Gideon Graves vibes to me

Just punch on him face of that trash... Sometimes that is the easiest way to solve everything.
