Author has a fanbox account, and the profile pic is the rabbit girl, so that tells you what the intended goal of this manga is.So the implications we're getting so far is that the world actually sees these creatures as being human like (but less than humans), but something that can still be sexually attractive... So why did they buy their son one as a pet? Why would anyone get one other than to be a servant/slave?
If his parents hated and thought so little of the rabbit people, why'd they get their son a rabbit person? The world building doesn't make too much sense so far.

maybe they just bought it for the son to have company? the first few chapters imply that he didn't have many friends...So the implications we're getting so far is that the world actually sees these creatures as being human like (but less than humans), but something that can still be sexually attractive... Then again they are constantly berating him for treating the pet like a friendmaybe they just bought it for the son to have company? the first few chapters imply that he didn't have many friends...
I mean I feel like it makes some sense. If the parents are like super racist it makes sense they would see it simply as a pet for their kid. Since they think they are less human and kinda explains why they get upset when he does human stuff with her.So the implications we're getting so far is that the world actually sees these creatures as being human like (but less than humans), but something that can still be sexually attractive...
