@Jugo-kun @Batora07 I've read up to vol. 10, honestly I also think her death is profitable to the story, as sad as it is.

BUT
Spoiler vol. 10:
2 things that Grimm do and say let me to believe she is not dead, or at least we will hear about her again, even dead.

First is in vol. 6/7 (not sure) when Grimm is wounded and tell his slave that he has to care for "her".
It may be Hameline, it's more than probably someone else we don't know about yet, but still.

Second is the end of vol. 10, I mean, it can't be just that, why use them now ? For what ?
My theory is that he has to find a way to control them, and either he rescued and "convinced" Hameline to show him how to do it, or he salvaged her corpse and found a way to learn from it. Reality is probably that he didn't have any use for them before, but again, nothing is sure.

@Khraxter no, I don't think Grimm gives a fuck about Hameline, he basically wanted to get the location of Sirin and Bahamut from her, she was useless to him besides that, the proof for that is that he killed all of her nemeses at sight knowing that a Domitor is a tamer (so they basically should care about their nemeses). I think he

spoiler for volume 10
stole the nemeses at the Artemis to get the attention of those Domitors for whatever reasons, but I think he had grudges against them and want to use the nemeses to force them to get them back or just to get them out of their hideout or something like that...
at least that's how I see things but I don't think he saved Hameline at all, they barely had the time to save Seth on the tower.

Spoiler about volume 6 - Chapter 39
Also about the "her" you're referring to, it is said with quotation marks : "elle", it could both refer to somebody or even a location (the house or the islet they're living), we don't know enough about Grimm yet to speculate about whom he's referring to.
