Looks promising but the exposition was done terribly. Also there was a clarification connecting ct scans to 2d images and mri to 3d volumes. However both of these are incorrect, since there are 3d ct scanners and 2d mri scanners also. The main difference between the two is the radiation used (x-ray vs radio waves) and the resolution (spatial versus contrast).

For medical and historical manga, try Jin (https://mangadex.org/manga/4873/jin), which is about a 21st century Japanese surgeon who is transported back in time to the time just before the Meiji restoration.

Lots of medical detail is described, which is really nice, and the story itself is good.

At this point the "can't reveal his secret" will just be a running gag for the rest of the series

oh wow. this is really good so far. just the right balance between fluff, drama, and technicalities. It's like reading moyashimon.

This is good, but not that far great like the rest.
As for related-medical manga, my top 3 are : Kounodori, Fragile and Jin.
They are on differrent level.

Fragile focused on point of view, debates and many cases involved. Jin as DanYHKim said. And Kounodori more complex with its drama (it has been licensed, you can buy it).

And this one, interesting but can't make me speechless (not yet). This is pretty lively and have spirit.
I would like to see in further development.

Hrm.

Manga is okay so far and for a chapter about mammograms and breast cancer involving nudity it treated the nudity very well.

But the MC's kinda tropey "he's a genius so he must have some sort of social/mental problem" stuff is a bit annoying. Same with the chapter starting off with a serious dialogue about finding a lump on this woman's breast and then it's just ass shots of the doctor.

i first saw this manga on NHK. both the author and artist are doing good job, they even get some references and cases from real specialist iirc. they try to keep it realistic and make sure only change a bit to make it easier to the readers.
