Oh, so he wasn't a demon. Is this lightning spirit related at all to Lucina's shadow? He certainly shouldn't be related to Lucina not being able to use magic. In fact he should have nothing to do with Lucina at all. That being said, since spirits are related to magic, maybe he actually could help Shizuru to figure out Lucina's problem. If one of the fundamental spirits can't see what's wrong, nobody can.

Since the higher spirits are basically who control magic in that world, he ought to be able to see much, even if it was some fancy curse or whatever that's ailing her. Regardless of being able to name what he's seeing due to being too young.

I suspect that another great spirit (maybe darkness) has personally blessed her. She is too young to withstand such great power, so the blessing hasn't manifested yet. Other spirits dare not infringe where a greater spirit has already staked his claim, so they don't associate with her and people therefore mistakenly assume that she has no blessing.

I bet everyone will eventually come to regret not having pursued or sucked up to the best girl when they had the chance as the MC will have already secured her as his waifu before the world learns how amazing she actually is.
